Suzanne Elizabeth Gillis is an Award-Winning Fiction Author and Professional Screenwriter. She holds an MFA with Honors in Screenwriting from Columbia University Graduate School of Arts Film School and a BA in Writing and Film from Hampshire College. She has written over fifty screenplays and previously owned a website business (scriptstories.com) where she helped non-writers develop story ideas into feature screenplays and TV series.
Her first award-winning debut novel, THE LANDLADY OF MAPLE AVENUE, was inspired by true stories about her father's Canadian immigrant family who settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the 1920s. This debut novel has already won 10 book awards and is still counting.
